Your customers can walk into any of our branches or to our teller implants within your premises to make cash or cheque deposits. You will receive real time information on all deposits onto your system or a platform of your choice.

Omni Plus, Omni Lite and Mobile App Channel Our internet banking platforms that allow your customers to pay you directly for goods and services without stepping into a branch (Example: for payment of taxes, regulatory payments, utilities.)
Mobile App Channel This channel enables your customers to pay instantly for goods or services from the comfort of their homes or offices. For Non Ecobank Customers an Xpress account can be opened via the Ecobank Mobile App with no references required and zero account fees. You can also use your Mastercard or Visa card to onboard onto RapidCollect.
Mobile Money – Ecobank or 3rd party wallets Ecobank is currently integrated to various third-party wallet including Telco’s. The solution allows your customers holding that wallet to use their mobile to make payments to you instantly. (Example: Available on Facebook Rafiki, Mpesa, etc.)
EcobankPay This solution allows your customers to use their mobile phones to scan your QR code to make payments (Scan + Pay), which you receive instantly. It can be used for making cashless payments at merchant outlets, e-commerce websites and grocery stores, amongst others.
E-Commerce The e-commerce payment solution enables your customers to pay online using their MasterCard or Visa card, extending the security and convenience of electronic payments to you and your customers.
POS The POS terminals can be customised to allow the cashiers or tellers to capture a specific payment references (e.g. account number for utility bill payments) and enables your customers to pay using their payment cards.
Xpress Point The solution allows your clients to use Ecobank’s agency banking network known as “Xpress Point” to make payments into your account. Xpress Points can be found in local communities and provides your customers with the ease and convenience of not travelling longer distances to make a payment into your account.
Branch We also have designated Ecobank branches that serve as bulk cash collection points to receive cash, cheque and card payments on your behalf.

RapidCollect - Additional innovative collection services

  • Direct Debits

    A direct debit is a simple way to collect funds directly from a bank account. The direct debit is initiated by the merchant or service provider. The paying party completes a direct debit mandate form which authorises the merchant to collect (through a bank) an amount for services provided each month. Unlike standing orders, which require the amounts to be fixed, direct debits can be used for varying amounts.

  • Cheque Scanning Solutions

    Ecobank will provide you with a self-service Offsite Cheque Scan Solution which will enable cheques drawn on other banks to be scanned directly to the clearing gateway for settlement. Your client can visit your premises, where the cheque can be processed directly for settlement.

  • Cash transportation

    If you collect high volumes of cash at your premises, Ecobank is able to provide a solution for securely moving cash to the nearest Ecobank branch. Ecobank ensures that cash collection visits to your premises are aligned to your operational schedule and the reconciliation process is facilitated, thanks to RapidCollect.

  • Teller Implant

    In addition, Ecobank can offer teller implant solutions, which are small Ecobank branches set up at a customer site. The mini branch will have an online link to the Ecobank transaction processing systems, so that the transactions are posted directly to your account as and when they are processed by the teller.
